W. Alaric Van Dam, MD, received his medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his internship at Kettering Memorial Hospital in Kettering, Ohio, and his residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Dr. Van Dam is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the Association of Academic Physiatrists, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of South Carolina and the Carolina Pain Society.
His specialties and clinical interests include conservative spine care, electrodiagnostics, musculoskeletal ultrasound, physical medicine and rehabilitation, prolotherapy and osteoporosis.
