What are the benefits of OneChart?

OneChart is available at Palmetto Health hospitals, physician practices and clinics. You can access OneChart anytime, from anywhere, from any device with internet capability.

With OneChart you can:

  • View your personal health information
  • Receive your discharge instructions
  • Review your lab results
  • Communicate with your doctor’s office
  • Request a prescription refill
  • Request an appointment
 

OneChart will replace Palmetto Health's MyHealth portals and USC Specialty Clinics' patient portals as provider locations are upgraded. You can see which providers have been upgraded here.

If you’re being admitted to one of our hospitals, our registration staff will send you an email invitation. Just click on the link within the email to join.

In our physician practices and clinics, you can ask the front desk staff to sign you up. You will need to provide some basic information and will be asked to create a security question. Your email invitation should arrive within minutes. Just click on the link within the email and sign in.

The invitation expires within 90 days, but if you forget, just contact your provider.

You can go to the portal login page, click on “Forgot Your Password” and provide the requested information. You can also contact Cerner, the company that powers the software behind OneChart, by calling 1-877-621-8014. If you experience difficulty, please contact your provider.

Cerner is the company we use to securely manage your electronic medical record information. OneChart is a customized system that provides you with the capabilities to interact with the medical record system.

Baptist Easley Hospital is a partnership between Palmetto Health and Greenville Health System. Baptist Easley patients also use the OneChart patient portal.

OneChart is encrypted and password-protected, so your health information remains secure.

Pediatric proxy access is granted to parents of children under age 16. Pediatric proxy access will be automatically terminated on the child’s 16th birthday. Adult proxy access is available to caregivers of patients over age 16, with permission from the patient. To request adult proxy access, contact your practice directly or Health Information Management at 803-296-3430. A patient can terminate proxy access by contacting Cerner at 1-877-621-8014.

Only you and those whom you grant proxy access will have access to your information.

Your visit information should be available immediately.

Lab or test results are released to you within three to five days. Please note that some results are received faster than others, so some results from the same visit may be available to you before others.

Upon approval by your provider, your prescriptions will be available within two business days.

You will receive an answer within three business days. OneChart should not be used for urgent situations.
