Meera Narasimhan, MD



Meera Narasimhan, MD, serves as chair of the Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group Department of Neuropsychiatry. Narasimhan received her medical degree from Gandhi Medical College in India, where she also completed her internship and internal medicine residency. She completed a psychiatry internship at Columbia University in New York City, followed by a psychiatry residency, a chief residency and a clinical neuroscience research fellowship at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition to role as a professor of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Science at USC, Narasimhan serves as associate provost for Health Sciences at USC.

Our affiliate system

We will soon share one brand across the entire organization to better reflect this. Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group will be rebranded in late 2019 and will continue to operate as a joint venture between the Midlands affiliate and the USC School of Medicine.
