Mary Beth Poston, MD

Internal Medicine


Mary Beth Poston, MD, is an assistant professor of clinical internal medicine at Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group. She received her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and completed her residency at Palmetto Health Richland, both in Columbia. She then completed an academic general internal medicine fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Academically, Dr. Poston is interested in pre-clinical medical student education and is the director of the Introduction to Clinical Medicine curriculum. Her additional interests include ultrasound in medical education and increasing physical activity in primary care.
