Paul H. Bornemann, MD

Family Medicine


Paul H. Bornemann, MD, is a family medicine physician with Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group and also serves as associate director of the Palmetto Health Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Bornemann earned his bachelor's degree in biotechnology at Rutgers University and his medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, both in Piscataway, New Jersey. He completed his residency at the National Capital Consortium in Washington, D.C., and served eight years in the United States Army prior to his appointment at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

Dr. Bornemann is interested in point-of-care ultrasound training and research, behavioral health in primary care and clinical decision-making processes.
