About

Ryan M. Putnam, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, Arizona. He completed his internship with the Department of Surgery and his residency with the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington, and then completed a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Putnam is board certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the Southern Orthopaedic Association. His specialties and clinical interests include bunions and hammertoes, total ankle replacement, arthroscopy and ligament reconstruction, deformity correction (Taylor Spatial Frame), fracture care, flatfoot correction, nerve decompression and tendon transfers.
