Thomas W. Schultz, DO, is a cardiologist with Palmetto Heart and a clinical assistant professor at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine.

Dr. Schultz earned his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in general cardiology at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and completed an interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut at Hartford Hospital in Hartford.

Dr. Schultz is board certified in cardiovascular disease, internal medicine and interventional cardiology, and is currently reading vascular studies. He is skilled in adult transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, percutaneous coronary intervention, permanent pacemaker implantation and peripheral diagnostics.
