About our practice

At Palmetto Health-USC Palliative Care, we focus on relieving the pain, symptoms and stress of a serious illness so patients can have a better quality of life. Palliative care is offered at any stage of an illness, alongside other medical treatment – even patients undergoing treatment for a cure can have palliative care.

Palliative Medicine Clinic

At our clinic, located at 1 Richland Medical Park Dr., we offer patient and family support for symptom and pain management, medical decision making and advance directives. We also offer end of life discussions and support for those who can't be supported by hospice. Learn more »

Is palliative care right for me?

It also may be right for you if you experience frequent emergency department visits or have several hospital admissions (three or more within 12 months) with the same symptom, a medical condition that is getting worse that requires help to control symptoms, pain or stress, or eating problems related to advanced illness.
