About our practice

At Palmetto Health-USC Rheumatology, we offer consultative, diagnostic and therapeutic services in the treatment of connective tissue diseases, arthritis, muscle and bone disorders. Our board-certified physicians are scientists, educators and, most importantly, compassionate listeners. We do our best to help patients understand their disease and the treatments available.

Rheumatic diseases can be complex, as there are more than 100 conditions, including all forms of arthritis, autoimmune disease, musculoskeletal pain disorders and osteoporosis. Rheumatic diseases can affect multiple parts of the body and are usually associated with inflammation (swelling and redness).
