About our team
Our joint replacement team at Palmetto Health-USC Orthopedic Center includes four fellowship-trained surgeons with a combined total of nearly 100 years of experience in joint replacement surgery. We utilize multiple surgical approaches to perform unicompartmental, primary and revision knee replacement, primary and revision hip replacement and osteotomies.
Each of our patients undergo a thorough evaluation and work with our specialists to develop a unique, patient-centered and comprehensive treatment plan. We collaborate with each patient to determine the most appropriate treatment option, discuss the procedure and answer any questions.

Our physicians perform outpatient surgery at three locations in the Midlands, including Palmetto Heath Baptist, Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge and Palmetto Health Richland. Benefits of outpatient surgery include convenient scheduling, a shorter stay (most patients return home the same day) and lower cost.
