Research

Committed to academic research

At Palmetto Health-USC Orthopedic Center, we are dedicated to academic research – with a strong focus on community outreach and meeting the needs of our growing patient population.

Our residents, faculty and attending physicians have authored publications and presentations at state, national and international levels. Our primary goal for our ongoing research studies is to provide evidence-based information to improve and advance the care of our patients and orthopedic patients nationally.

Palmetto Health-USC Orthopedic Center and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine offer abundant opportunities for research. We complete multiple research projects annually, including grant-funded projects.
